Merry Christmas

Braden had a wonderful first Christmas! We have a lot to be thankful for this year!! Brad's health being the first and foremost! We have been shown more love and support from our friends and family that we could ever imagine. It's been almost five months since Brad was sick and he is doing great. We both made a promise to each other that 2010 would be a great year. We are going to try to travel and just enjoy every day together as a family. You truly never know what cards life is going to deal you. We are just so thankful for our new little family. Braden, Taylor and I love our daddy more than life itself and we are so proud of who he is:) Merry FIRST Christmas Braden!

Brad, Braden, Taylor and I spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Little Rock with my sister's family this year. Mom and Daddy met us over there, so we had a house FULL! I think Braden was in shock with all of the "action"! He loved every little second of it and he actually took his very first steps in Little Rock. We are so proud of our little guy. It just keeps getting more and more fun! Here are a few pics from the week! We miss our little cousins!!!

Happy Halloween!!

So, we bought Braden a really cute monkey suit from Target and he had NOTHING to do with it. Braden was NOT happy, but it is hilarious. Needless to say, we took the monkey suit back. We opted for this little skeleton suit from Old Navy. I figured I would dress him up next year when he's walking and actually able to somewhat enjoy Halloween.

We went to some friend's house for chili and hot dogs and let the kids play. We've got an UNHAPPY astronaut, a skeleton, pumpkins and Woody:) Wish we could have stayed longer! Happy Halloween!!!

We went to play group with a couple of kids from Sunday school on Friday. Braden was convinced Lila and Jack were dogs and wanted to tear their costumes off the whole time:)

A Visit from Mimi

Mom came to visit us this weekend in Nashville! Braden AND Taylor are absolutely crazy about Mimi...he just lights up when she walks in the room. This little guy LOVES life as you can see. He has the sweetest little personality. I told him he was NO child of mama's if he didn't know how to laugh and I tell you...that is all this child does:)

We had a fun weekend filled with shopping and cooking. Mom made some sinful white chocolate macadamia nut cookies that are ALMOST gone. It was so good to have her here! We miss you Mimi! See you at Thanksgiving!!!

Gatlinburg 2009

Brad and I had our first vacation in over a year and a half this weekend. Sad, I know. Brad's parents kept Braden...so I felt comfortable knowing he would be spoiled all weekend:) We went to Gatlinburg for the weekend with two sweet couples from our Sunday school. Brad and I were talking tonight and he looked at me and said, "You know, I don't think we have laughed that much in like three years"! Ha! So true! We had the best weekend! We didn't really leave the cabin! I felt like we were back in high school. We played Cranium, Uno, Clue, and pool all weekend. It was just what we needed. We are so, so thankful to have such sweet fun friends here in Nashville.

Crockett Park

Today was such a beautiful day! We usually come home after church, put on our jeans and just veg! We decided to take Braden AND Taylor to Crockett Park today to enjoy the weather. Today is my little nephew, John David's, b'day today! Happy Birthday John David!!! We love you!!

Austin's B'day Party

Giddy Up Cowboy:) Our sweet friends from Sunday school celebrated Austin's 2nd b'day this afternoon. Austin is really in to horses right now. We had a great time! Happy B'day Austin!
