Happy Birthday

Birthday Boy

Well, we only have a couple weeks left until our baby boy is ONE! It's so hard to believe that a year could go so fast. We've had a crazy year, but it's definitely one we will never forget. I have some CUTE birthday decorations I will post this weekend. I think I've had them out for like two weeks now. Ha! Happy (ALMOST) 1st b'day Braden:):) Mommy and Daddy love you so much!

Trip to Arkansas

Well, Braden, TAYLOR and I loaded up the Altima and made the six hour drive to Little Rock to see Amanda and the kids. Luckily, Brad's parents had stayed with us the night before we left, so she rode to Jackson, TN with me to keep Braden happy. Brad put the DVD player in the car, so as long as he had Baby Praise, Cars, or Veggie Tales on...he was happy.

We had such a great time with the kids!! Braden and Lainey had a BALL chasing each other around. They fought over the miniature Graco stroller and mardi gras beads most of the time:) Taylor of course was in HEAVEN with his brother, Dutch. I wish so badly we lived closer to them:( We had a wonderful time though and Braden can't WAIT to see his cousins again soon! We love y'all!!!

Helping Mommy Cook

Braden thinks he's REALLY big stuff now that he's walking:) Here are a few pics of him helping mommy make petit fours...or wanting to PLAY with mommy while SHE made petit fours. He think it's hilarious to look at himself in the reflection of the oven. He could seriously sit there for hours. Ha!!! I cherish these days so much. He's just so sweet.
By the way...I had him in his diaper because he destroyed his third outfit of the day and I had someone coming to pick up petit fours and just didn't have time to change him:)

Snow Bound

So...Braden wasn't REALLY sure what was going on when I put footed pjs, sweat pants, shoes, mittens and a hoodie on him this afternoon:) I think he was actually scared! Ha! Once we got him outside, he wanted to literally dive into the snow! He AND Taylor loved it! Pediatrician says I need to "rid" him of the paci by one year...not sure that's happenin' Dr. Moss:) Happy Snow day to us! We've gotten about 5 inches tonight with more to come! I'll post more in the morning.

9 months old

It's so hard to believe my "baby" boy is almost one. This year has literally flown by. What all are you up to these days...you are WALKING around like crazy. You still have to have one of mommy's fingers for safety, but you are pretty much on your own. You love graham crackers, baby nilla wafers, puffs, bananas, pears, grapes and sweet potatoes. You are now STANDING up in your crib and you can't figure out how to sit back down once you are up. You are saying mamama and dadadada and you said, "bye bye" and waved this morning as daddy was leaving for work. You are in LOVE with Taylor. Not sure he's as in love with you, but he will learn to love you:)

You have a laugh that melts my heart and you laugh A LOT:) I always tell you that you are no child of mama's if you don't know how to laugh:) You have seven teeth. You are pretty much sleeping through the night from 7-7. Your best friends are Jack Hazard, Lila Rose Settle, Max Cothran, Meredith Stuckey and Hayes Riley...even though they live out of town. You LOVE bath time and normally cry as soon as we take you out. You still aren't really use to strangers, but I'm sure that will change over time. You are the love and the light of our lives and we love you more and more everday. I think it took me about six months for it to sink in that mommy had MADE you and that you were my SON:) I love saying that:) Thank you for the best nine months of our lives sweet baby boy.
