Swimming Lessons

We went over to our friend' house for an "End of the Summer Pool Party" a few weeks ago! What did my son want to do the WHOLE time??? JUMP OFF THE DIVING BOARD!!! I can't get mad at him b/c he IS a little me! Fearless...! He had a ball! He kicked and screamed when we had to leave:( I have a feeling this little man is going to always keep me on my toes:) Love you Braden!

Labor Day

Braden is at such a fun age right now! He's almost 17 months old! He LOVES his little friends so much! We spent Labor Day with our good friends Leslie and Michael Nix and ALL the kiddos! I really wish I could freeze this time because I know it doesn't last long. Love you sweet baby boy!

Little Rock

Well, Braden and I are officially done traveling! I feel like we have been out of town more than we have been IN town this month! We just got back from Little Rock, Arkansas visiting my sister and her family. She has three kids, so there was never a dull OR quiet moment:) Braden jumped right in and had a ball! He wants to be "big" so bad!! My mom met us over there as well. We love you Lainey, John David and Maddie!!!

Lake Burton 2010

Brad and I just got back from the most relaxing weekend we have both had in a long, long time. We went to Lake Burton with our sweet friends, Sarah and Michael Anderson and Anne and Austin Parsons. This lakehouse has been in Michael's family since 1950. When I say we roughed it...we roughed it. It was a true "cabin". No tv, no internet, no A/C!! I wasn't a BIG fan of camp when I was little, but I actually had a wonderful time. You could tell by the pictures hanging on the wall that there were so many fun and special memories made at this little house. We slept with the windows open at night and it rained every night we were there. Brad knows that is my FAVORITE thing in this world. Rain on a tin roof. Gosh...it's just a little piece of heaven!!

The lakehouses were bigger than some of the "nice" houses here in Brentwood! It was crazy! We took the pontoon boat out every night after dinner and just listened to music and looked at all of the houses. We slept in, ate good food, watched movies and drank some good wine! It was just perfect. I wouldn't have changed a single thing:) Thank you Sarah and Michael for being such special friends to us. Can't wait for Lake Burton 2011!!!!!

4th of July

Ok, so this picture of all the mamas and the babies was taken after a few hours outside playing in the pool! It's just a classic picture of our everyday lives though! We were all dying laughing because some sat still, some squirmed and some cried! I love these girls more than words can say! They have become some of my very best friends here in Nashville. I am so, so, so lucky to know each of them!!

Vegas 2010

Brad and I went to Vegas with some of our closest friends back in May! It was one of our first trips in a LONG time! Braden and Taylor stayed behind this time:) We have had a busy, but fun summer so far!
